The 1924 Club

The AGC of Texas 1924 Club is an exclusive membership opportunity designed for individuals committed to advancing the heavy highway construction industry in the Lone Star State. Named in honor of AGC of Texas' founding year, The 1924 Club offers members unique networking opportunities, access to industry insights, and involvement in shaping the future of construction through advocacy efforts and community engagement. Join this esteemed group of industry leaders and make a lasting impact on Texas construction with the 1924 Club.

Membership Benefits: 
  • ​Invitation to Fundraising Events
    • ​Fundraisers hosted by AGC of Texas for statewide and other select candidates will be open to those who have contributed to the PAC at the 1924 Club level in the same calendar year that the fundraising event occurs. Any AGC of Texas member not part of the 1924 Club can attend the general reception by making a personal contribution at the level specified on the event invitation.
  • Access to Fireside Chats & Area Events
    • During session, the AGC of Texas Government Affairs team will host a virtual fireside chat every other week to provide a brief legislative update and answer questions about current and upcoming legislative items at the Capitol. During the interim, periodic fireside chats will be hosted for 1924 Club members to provide updates on interim charges, campaigns, and other political issues.
  • ​Exclusive Advocacy Reports
    • 1924 Club members will receive exclusive bulletins containing detailed updates of the chapter's advocacy efforts during session along with relevant political information during the interim. These reports will be sent electronically on a monthly basis during session and on a quarterly basis during the interim.
  • ​1924 Club Member Lapel Pin
    • 1924 Club members will receive a lapel pin as a small token of appreciation to wear at AGC of Texas and 1924 Club member events
