AGC of Texas' Future Leadership Council (FLC) provides emerging leaders in the highway, heavy, utility, and industrial construction industry with opportunities to build relationships, grow professionally, give back to their communities, and become more actively involved in AGC of Texas.
Designed for professionals who are early in their careers, new to the industry, or ready to take the next step in their leadership journey, the FLC connects the next generation of industry leaders with their peers and with the experienced leaders who have helped shape the construction industry in Texas.
Through networking, professional development, mentorship, community service, advocacy, and PAC activities, FLC members gain valuable experience while building the relationships and leadership skills that will help carry our industry forward.

Network with Your Peers. Build meaningful relationships with other emerging leaders from across the heavy highway construction industry. FLC events provide a relaxed environment to meet professionals from different companies, disciplines, and areas of the state.

Give Back to Your Community. Make an impact beyond the jobsite. FLCs participate in community service and outreach activities that allow members to work together while supporting communities throughout Texas.

Find Your FLC. Future Leadership Councils are currently active in four areas across Texas: Central Texas, DFW, El Paso, and Houston. While each council develops programming specific to its community, all share the same goal: developing the next generation of leaders for the construction industry and AGC of Texas.
