Directories

All AGC members are welcome to use the Membership Directory to search for a contractor or supplier member. The search will allow a member to search through the national AGC database, which means you can search this chapter or any of the other 100 AGC chapters throughout the nation.

The AGC Staff Directory is a listing of all the people on staff at this chapter. Texas Highway, Heavy, Utilities and Industrial Branch has four field offices, Austin, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. You can contact any of the staff persons by phone or email.

The chapter Board of Directors Directory is composed of the current President, President-elect and ten directors that meet once a month on the afternoon prior to the first day of the highway letting. The Board of Directors is charged with establishing policy and direction for the chapter. In addition to fulfilling policy responsibilities, the Board is charged with the review, approval or rejection of applicants for membership. The Board also appoints a Membership Development Committee to assist with recruitment of applicants.

The chapter Life Member Directory is a list of members that the Branch, by affirmative vote of the members, at the recommendation of the Board of Directors, granted the title "Life Member". These individuals have ceased to be active in the construction industry and the individual, firm, or corporation has been an active member for at least five years prior to nomination as a "Life Member".

The chapter Past Presidents Directory is a listing of all of the past Texas Highway, Heavy, Utilities and Industrial Branch presidents dating back to 1924, the year the association was founded as the Highway and Heavy Branch. One of the duties of a past president if appointed to the Nominating Committee is to nominate candidates for Board of Director vacancies. The Nominating Committee is a group of seven members consisting of the seven most recent active past presidents, and is appointed by the President with the approval of the Board of Directors.
